Bendix Model 753M Clock Radio (1953)

The clock dial really dominates the face of this wood-and-glass model. They solved the design problem of how to incorporate two different kinds of dials in a simple way. Just make the entire front one piece of glass!

This type of radio's not really to my taste. There's something awkward about the whole thing. I revived the finish on the cabinet and kept it around for a few years, then disposed of it at a radio swap meet.
