GE C-421C "Musaphonic" Clock Radio (1950s)

I got this light blue behemoth as part of an assorted auction lot. It has one of the most peculiar cabinets that I've ever seen. Apart from the Jetson's styling, it comes apart in about five pieces and it has more screws in funny places than you could imagine. The clear dial cover was missing when I took this photo, but it turned up later.

After owning it for a few years, I gave this radio to a fellow collector who had listened to the same model as a child.
